Introducing John Denny as Joe.
Joe is a foreman at Hurley Steel.
John was late finding his passion for musical theatre and first performed on stage in 2019 at the age of 46 when he joined the Ellesmere Port Musical Theatre Company, taking a place in the Chorus for their Spotlight on Musicals show, and again in their 2019 performance of Annie, but this time he was more involved taking on a few of the male supporting roles much to the surprise of his family. John lives near Chester with his wife Samantha and his 3 Lurchers, Moby, Fig and Piccadilly who enjoy being part of singing practice, though they don’t always remember their cues! When he’s not part of a show John restores modern classic cars and spends time bringing old motorcycles back to life, as well as taking in long walks in the country.
As a child of the 80’s John is really looking forward to being a part of an 80’s musical rather than watching back nostalgically through the eyes of a shy 10-year-old. He’s excited to be back on stage in such a high energy show, with such a strong group of talented performers, and after such a long break he can’t wait to take to the stage with The Zodiac.
